What, exactly, happens if we do not grow?
Considering that perpetual economic growth is the most sacred of all sacred cows, the panacea for all symptoms and irritations, the absence of it by definition implies doom and catastrophe. That seems to be an assumption worth inquiring into. So, again: what, in all likelihood, does happen if we forfeit growth? Any concrete ideas, anyone?

Important question, Rainer. Every person, place, thing, event, and thought in our Universe is made of energy. Energy, by definition, is always moving. Everything in the universe craves expansion and growth in the manifested dimension. Until that thing begins to crave expansion and growth in the unmanifested dimension, which is what happens when the choice is made to transition to a higher level. Quite simply, everything is either growing or decomposing.
My best advice: never stop going and growing. The decomposers will catch up with you - and they're fast!!
